What You Will Learn
When making this game we will learn several essential techniques for making educational computer games. Importantly, we will learn how to add objects to a game, how to create ‘events’ which tell the system what we want to happen in the game, to create a counter which will ensure things happen sequentially – plus we’ll also learn some fun stuff too, including adding sparkles and a bit of animation!
Importantly, the techniques we will use for ensuring things happen sequencially is extremely useful for educational games. This will be one of the foundations of a variety of educational computer games from counting games to language games.
